If the address is valid and confirmed but the person cannot be located, a judge may authorize alternative service. If the address is determined to be invalid, an Affidavit of Non-Service may be provided.
No. T.E.X.A.M.I. Legal Serve does not currently offer skip tracing services. Clients are encouraged to provide as much information as possible about the person being served.
Helpful information may include a current photograph, vehicle description, work schedule, known locations, or other details that may help identify and locate the person being served.
Not necessarily. A person does not always have to physically accept the documents for service to be completed. If the person identifies themselves or acknowledges who they are, the documents may be left through a form of drop service when legally appropriate.
Documents may be sent by email or picked up from the courthouse when needed. The document type, urgency, pricing, and assignment details are reviewed during intake before service begins.
